Our participation at the 2nd Annual International Cyber Security Conference
Sahara Net participated in the 2nd Annual International Cyber Security Conference at the Security Forces Officer’s Club in Riyadh on 27th and 28th February. This conference was organized by Ministry of Interior represented by the National Cyber Security Center (NCSC) along with Naseba. The attendance covered delegates comprising of VIPs, CEOs, CIOs, CISOs, Information Security Managers and Experts. This conference was a great chance for Sahara Net to showcase cyber security services and solutions to the potential delegates who are finding ways to put an end to the fatal cyber attacks that led to serious operational irregularities in both private and public sectors across the country.
Expressing pleasure about the company’s participation in the conference, the Cyber Security Supervisor of Sahara Net Faisal Al-Yousef stated, “It was a great pleasure for us to participate in this high-profile conference. Our focus was highlighting the fact that security is not a product to buy, but a practice to apply. One of our prime objectives is to develop national cyber security skills to be self-reliant in this sensitive field. In addition, part of our goal is to increase the cyber security awareness level that will serve as the primary shield against 90% of the cyber-attacks.”
